This is an attractive piece made from beautiful Yew with a top that flaps open to form a lap top or writing area. It has high quality, solid brass swan-neck handles, and is made to Bevan Funnell's usual high standards. It has 4 useful graded drawers made with dovetail joints. It is a reproduction Georgian style piece standing on 4 bracket feet. It is a lovely piece of furniture which would be ideal for any room in the house, the home study or office. The drawers have the original brass handles. The chest is in very good condition with some signs of use mainly to the top surface.

The desk area when open is in extremely good condition, just wear to the top when closed. This is a very beautiful item showing all the unmistakable signs of quality found in Bevan Funnell furniture. It is a piece to cherish and keep.
