PLEASE SEE OUR OTHER SITE cgfclocks for feedback. We decided to set up a new shop devoted to antiques and fine interiors as our shop was getting so large. REPRODUX BEVAN FUNNELL Mahogany Bachelors Chest of Drawers Desk ANTIQUE STYLE. This is a wonderful mahogany reproduction bachelors chest which has been designed to reflect early English furniture. The chest is superb quality and also practical having a fold over top which allows it to be used as a desk if required. The piece super quality having been made by Reprodux which is the brand name for Bevan Funnel, who are renowned for their high quality furniture. The chest has it's makers label on the inside of the top drawer and has been photographed. There are four drawers each of which have lovely brass ring handles pretty embossed back plates. Each of the drawers have nicely shaped edges and matched half veneers to the drawer fronts which sets them off beautifully. The top is nicely shaped to the edge and when the chest need to be used as a desk the two brush slide are pulled out and the top flips over onto the slides.

The chest is then raised on a lovely brackets feet. The mahogany is a lovely rich colour as can be seen in the photographs. The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are: - 23.5 inches (59.5 cm) wide.

13.5 inches (35 cm) deep when closed / 27.75 inches (70.5 cm) when open. 31.75 inches (81 cm) high.

As can be seen from the above dimensions this chest of drawers is of lovely petite proportions. From the photographs you can see that this is an lovely piece of furniture which is in good condition, just minor marks commensurate with age. There is some wear to the brushing slide, please view final photograph.
